30 years celebrations

Celebrating 30 years

The Highlight of the event was the Sudbury House Children’s Choir (a name given to the group on the day) sang up a storm of Christmas tunes, to be rewarded afterwards with a host of activities including face painting, arts and crafts and a petting zoo. A range of cultural performers continued to keep the crowd entertained, while participants in Communicare’s “Work Experience Project” wrapped up a long morning of preparing a feast of food for the hungry hoards, supplemented by a sausage sizzle prepared by Sudbury volunteers.

The celebrations are a true reflection of our commitment to supporting the local community, and we plan to ensure that Sudbury House will remain a place where everyone can build on their strengths, no matter their background, ages, cultures or abilities.

This year we have all our usual groups and programs available. We are looking forward to working in partnership with you to develop programs and activities that meet the needs of this community. The Sudbury Community House Centre is here for the community, so if there is a service or program you are requiring, please come and talk to us about it.
