We are an informal drop in centre for information and you are always welcome to pop in for a tea or coffee. We are also a venue for playgroups, support groups, self development services and other user groups. Please see our current newsletter for timetable information.
We have photocopying and fax facilities available for a small fee.
Hours of Operation
The Community House is open between 8.30 and 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
We have four rooms available for hire. They range from size to cater for small groups of 10 adults to larger groups of 20 adults. Meeting Room 1 has overhead projector and whiteboard facilities. All rooms can be available with tables and chairs as requested, and a whiteboard if required. Room hire starts from $15.00 per hour. Two of the rooms are utilised as a playgroup rooms, and can be hired as a creche. Sudbury Community House can provide creche staff for your organisation at a very competitive rate for onsite or external locations. All our creche staff have their Certificate 3 in Children’s Services, First Aid Certificate and Working with Children checks.
Sudbury House has a large fenced outdoor play area attached to Meeting Room Two. These areas are perfect to hold children’s birthday parties. Included in the birthday party package you will have exclusive use of Meeting Room Two, outdoor play area and usage of the adjoining fully equiped kitchen facilities for three hours. Party room hire is available on both Saturday and Sunday.
Total cost is $90.00 plus a $100 bond. The option is available for $10 to have unlimited tea and coffee available for your party.
